The Appleberry Manchester United scarf allows the wearer to show pride in their team in an understated and classically English style. Traditionally made in saxony wool and hand-finished in the home colours of Manchester United
Manchester United was formed in 1878 as Newton Heath; the club changed its name to Manchester United in 1902 and moved to its current home Old Trafford in 1910.
Nicknamed The Red Devils, Manchester United is the most successful club in English football, having won a record 19 league titles, a record 11 FA Cups and four League Cups. The club has also won three European Cups and has twice been club world champions in 1999 and 2008.
In 1968, under the management of Matt Busby, Manchester United was the first English football club to win the European Cup, ten years after the Munich air disaster that claimed the lives of eight players. Current manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, is the most successful manager in English football history.
The Appleberry scarf is 10" wide x 72" long.
